A new 3-stop tour package has been launched to connect Bali tourists with lesser-known travel hotspots. The 3B’s Tour aims to introduce travelers to North Bali, West Bali, and Banyuwangi in East Java, providing a unique opportunity to explore these regions.
The concept behind the tour is to diversify tourist experiences beyond the crowded South Bali region and create stronger ties between Bali and Java. Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ni Luh Puspa, highlighted the high demand for the tour during a public meeting, emphasizing the need to promote other areas besides the popular South Bali.
Plans are underway to expand the program and enhance infrastructure to accommodate more tourists. Efforts are being made to improve connectivity, including the introduction of a fast boat service to facilitate smoother travel between destinations.
The Regent of Banyuwangi expressed gratitude for the support in developing connections between Bali and Java, emphasizing the potential benefits for tourism and the local economy. The collaboration between regions is seen as a positive step towards promoting tourism and cultural exchange.
The 3B’s Tour was initially proposed by the former Minister for Tourism, Sandiaga Uno, who recognized the untapped potential of North and West Bali in offering rich natural beauty and cultural experiences. The tour aims to showcase the diversity of attractions in these regions, from Lovina Beach’s dolphins to the stunning landscapes of Munduk and the Twin Lakes.
While Bali boasts a wealth of natural and cultural wonders, many tourists tend to stick to the popular areas in the central south of the island, overlooking the unique offerings of regencies like Buleleng and Jembrana in the west and north.
The inclusion of Banyuwangi and East Java in the tour adds another dimension to the travel experience, with highlights such as the iconic Mount Ijen and its mesmerizing sulfur caldera lake. The tour not only introduces travelers to new destinations but also contributes to improving transportation links between these regions.
Efforts to enhance connectivity, such as the new fast boat service between Gilimanuk and Banyuwangi, are expected to benefit both locals and tourists by providing efficient travel options. The initiative is also seen as a potential source of income for the region, supporting economic development.
By promoting travel to these lesser-explored regions, the 3B’s Tour aims to offer a more diverse and enriching experience for Bali tourists, encouraging them to venture beyond the usual tourist hotspots and discover the hidden gems of North Bali, West Bali, and Banyuwangi in East Java.
