The Prime Minister will then inaugurate the “Maha Songkran Chiang Mai Amazing Water Splash Tunnel” and lead the “Tuk Tuk Thailand Maha Muan Maha Man” parade, engaging with tourists and locals alike in the vibrant celebrations. Following this, she plans to visit Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan for the traditional bathing ceremony of the revered Phra Phuttha Sihing Buddha image.
Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s journey continues to Maya Square at Maya Shopping Center, where she will participate in the “SF My Water World Songkran Festival 2025,” adding to the festive spirit of the occasion. The following day, she will attend the “Pee Mai Mueang San Kamphaeng Tradition” at the Long Him Khao Community in San Kamphaeng District.
At this event, the Prime Minister will experience a warm welcome from the local community, take part in the bathing rituals of Buddha images, engage in the “Rod Nam Dum Hua” ceremony to bless elders with water, and explore the “Following the Footsteps of Handicrafts: San Kamphaeng Memories Festival,” showcasing local OTOP products.
