Im planning a trip to Australia and maybe New Zealand at the end of January for two full weeks. Ive been talking to my boss about my trip and hes totally okay with me extending it for an additional week or two if I want to work remotely during that time.

Im kinda interested because I feel like you need at least three weeks to travel that far (im in the US) and I could do a lot more exploring. Im not extremely keen on the idea because I would have to worry about my work laptop and the time difference (16+ hours) would make things rough. On that note though, its hard for me to take extended vacation as im only given 14 vacation days per year.

Do you guys have any background going this? What do you recommend?
