Working holiday visa: have you traveled/been abroad for 3 or more months question: impossible to answer

Posted on February 23, 2016 | in Travellers Questions | by

Im in the process of getting a working holiday visa for Australia. It asks me: have you been abroad for 3 or more consecutive months for the past 5 years. I click: yes. Because I have been on the road for the last 10 months, and took another long trip 2 years ago.

So then I am routed to the next question: fill in the names of countries where you stayed for more than 3 months. I never stayed in one contry for more than 3 months in a row. So I click next. But then the website states I have to fill in this question, because I clicked yes on the earlier one. This doesnt add up. Yeah, Ive been abroad for more than 3 months. No, Ive not stayed in any countries for more than 3 months. These are different countries.

It doesnt make sense, and I cant be the only one with this issue. What do? Maybe Im overthinking to much, and I should answer no on the first question, but Ive seen too many border security shows about Oz so I dont want to fuck up.

Bonus question: "do you intend to go into a health facility or hospital"… Well.. I dont intend to get sick, but it can happen, right? Weird questions once again…
