Working Holiday Visa for Australia

Posted on March 28, 2016 | in Travellers Questions | by

So Im gonna be in Australia in a few weeks under the working holiday visa. Im an American citizen who has been living in the Philippines for quite awhile. Im with a College degree from a prestigious university here in the Philippines. (De La Salle University Manila if youre wondering) So a few questions.

What are the jobs that I could take aside from farm jobs or food/retail jobs. Is it possible for me to get an office job or maybe a construction job?

How much salary do I need exactly to be able to save up? Note that Ill be living with a friend whos agreed to give me free lodging provided I cook food and clean the place.

Im actually considering just straight up living in Australia. Would that help me land a job in a company willing to sponsor me or do I really need to do the farm work for 88 days thing?

If I were to start a business but I only have a working holiday visa what steps do I need to take in order to make it work?

Any help or insight is much appreciated. Thanks guys!
