Im travelling to Australia for the first time in March. I want to bring my dog but I am aware of quarantine and the trauma planes can cause dogs. Im leaving for a year and Im scared to leave my best friend behind. I feel bad leaving her but I really dont know what to do. Is it really the best option to bring my little pooch all that way, in a new country I am also unaware of? My mom will look after her while Im gone, im just scared I will miss her too much.

Does anyone have any advice on this topic, or similar stories?
