Question regarding entering Thailand and Indonesia on Visa

Posted on October 17, 2015 | in Travellers Questions | by

In a few days I will be travelling to Thailand from Australia, Ill be there for a few days before going to Indonesia, then heading back home to Australia.

I hold Australian and British passports (both stating my Australian address). Both Thailand and Indonesia offer visa waivers for Australian and UK citizens, though Indonesia requires Australians to pay around $50 on entry, while UK citizens dont have to pay anything.

My question is, would I have any problems using my British passport for this entire trip? Should I leave and enter Australia on my Australian passport and then entry the Asian countries on my British passport?

Im not sure the best way to go about this as I have never actually used my British passport before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
