Hi All. I have done an extensive Google search and have looked through flyer talk.com and cannot find an answer to my question. I am hoping someone can help me. My family and I are planning on traveling to LA from Brisbane (Australia) at the end on March flying with Fiji Airways. Comparing flights on ITA Matrix we decided on a two week stay leaving 28 March flying Business Class. However when I then go to Expedia (or any other third party booking site) the only option for flights is a mixed class fare flying Brisbane to Fiji in Economy and then Fiji to LA in business class. Booking the flights and accommodation seperately through Fiji airways and the hotel direct dramatically skyrockets the price so Im happy to do the shorter leg in economy. My question however (and sorry its taken so long to get to it) is since the first leg is in economy does that mean we have to check in through the economy line and not have access to the business class lounge until we get to Fiji, or will we still be able to check in at the business class counter at Brisbane. I do hope this makes sense. One of the reasons we want to fly business class (itll be our first time) is so we can skip the long lines for check in and customs.
