Hi there, so Im from Sweden and Im planning to go to Asia to backpack for a month or two. I have semi-planned to visit Australia at the end of my trip as two of my friends are moving there. I have found what Visa I need to apply for.

But Im finding it difficult to fins information regarding from where the Visa applies. By this I mean; if I apply for a visa in my name and my swedish passport, does that visa apply for me wherever I am? Would it make any difference if I came in from Sweden or say, Indonesia?
