Hello all; Ill be travelling to Japan at the start of June this year with two friends, however while I have a further 3 months worth of travelling available to me, they have to return home to their jobs after just two weeks. Subsequently I will be conducting the majority of the trip on my own. After Japan my general focus is toward New Zealand and then over to the west coast of Canada & the U.S. However, I dont want to hurry over and want to take in as much of that part of the world as I can. Basically Im looking for any and all ideas for where to go and what to see; Im a passionate though amateur photographer and love being surrounded by nature, for example my main routes for the west coast involve traversing Yosemite and other national parks. Ill also be travelling alone as mentioned so ideally any indication of how easy communication is/where the most social or helpful places to stay are would be great. Money is not too much of an object, though ideally Id like to factor it is in order to last longer out of country!
Ive basically looked and found that from to Japan to New Zealand there needs to be a connecting flight, so I thought well why not just hop around a bit first and take in some of the nations in this area. Though Ive already been to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia & Australia in this area, Id love to know where any of you would recommends! Ive already started looking into Fiji, Taiwan & South Korea… Im open to all ideas! Thanks in advance, Dave.
