Ive been wanting to travel for a long time but just always felt there was better use of my cash. Im from Seattle, WA and never really left the Pacific Northwest. Well this weekend I was fortunate enough to win $2000 from my companies travel agency. That money can go towards airfare, hotel, rental car, really any travel related expenses. I expect to have at least $500 spending money on top of the winnings. Problem is I have a maximum of 7 days I can use for vacation unless I wait several more months which I dont much want to do. I dont even know where to begin. Id love to go abroad but with only 7 days travel time is a concern (Im in Seattle, WA). I cant really think of anywhere Id like to go in the US in the winter. I know this is rather broad, but Id love to hear some ideas

Some additional details – Ill already be going to HI in May with family. On this trip Ill likely be going solo.
