So I have 100000, Elevate Points through Virgin America and July 10-18 off for vacation. I live in Los Angeles and will be using that as my base of operations. The destinations out of there are pretty limited. Does anyone have any background utilizing Elevate points and Virgin Americas system? Are there partner airlines I can transfer the points too? Id really like to get down to Costa Rica or Panama or even some South American Destinations. Would it be worth my time to fly all the way to Australia during that time slot as Ill be losing a full day flying there and a full day flying back? Just curious if anyone has had any background with this airline and its points.
