Hey!

My friend and I are backpacking around Australia next month and will be flying into Cairns for the last week and a half of January (~ Jan 20). We plan to dive the great barrier reef, but weve been told to book a live aboard dive tour in person when we get there. Im sort of worried about this because Im not sure when these trips typically leave during the week and if its more expensive or cheaper to book last minute. Does anyone know?

Also, does anyone have any advice as to how to find/choose the best dive shop to go through? im advanced certified and my friend is not certified at all, but i think she would like to dive also.

Overall, any advice about finding a dive tour of the GBF in Cairns would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
