Ive been traveling for about 2 months in SEA. Currently in Thailand, but my visa runs out on December 25th. Debating going to Myanmar next, but Im wondering if spending Christmas and New Years in Myanmar will be a bit strange. I would love to spend the holidays in a hostel with other travelers, and Ive heard there arent many hostels in Myanmar. Should I consider another destination for the holidays, putting Myanmar off until later this trip? Would Cambodia, Hong Kong or Vietnam be a better choice? Thanks in advance for the advice.
