Am I missing out

Hey all, just wondering if I can run something past you guys. Im a 23 year old male, working in IT in the UK, who loves the usual stuff, going out with friends, making memories along with a side order of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. But something lately has just really felt amiss. My life feels strikingly dull at times. I have many friends who have graduated from uni and are currently travelling or have been travelling already. I work behind a desk and feel like Im just running through the motions. I also can be prone to moderate depression/anxiety so I guess my brain zones out on things like this sometimes which doesnt help. Lately Ive been thinking of just saving up 2/3 grand and going travelling for 3 months. Would you say this is a good way to do it? Anyway who has possibly been in my shoes before? Is 3 months enough? Which places would you recommend? Primarily, I have South East Asia on my mind, maybe Australia very briefly. Saving up wont be a problem. How is it travelling on your own also? I guess I just need some encouragement also. I dont want to be that guy who reaches 40 odd and has huge regrets about not doing rich things like seeing the world. Would appreciate massively if some one could respond and give me a helping hand. Thanks 🙂
