Ive always wanted to travel and all I need now are some guidelines.

For a journey around South Europe (Hopefully starting around Croatia and ending up somewhere in Italy or France)

1) Is it a good idea to buy a large van for transport which I can sleep in and keep all my belongings in?

2) How much money should be spent on food a day (trying to keep minimum)

3) Would it be better to go alone (and do whatever I want) or to go with friends (select things to do of my choice)

4) Where do you wash clothes and yourself?

5) How do you find interesting places? (abandoned buildings/nice lakes/forests/anything else)
