I hesitate to post, as I feel I may get flamed (rightfully so). However, having trouble narrowing things down and thought Id reach out to you for opinions based on your previous experience.

I have 2 weeks to travel over Christmas (Dec 19-Jan 2/3), and was considering Asia (from US, previously been to Australia, New Zealand and Costa Rica). Specifically, China and Japan, (some interest in SE Asia or elsewhere based on ideas). I know it may be a lot to try to do highlights in China and Japan in just two weeks. Wanted to see what others opinions and ideas were.

I have friends in China that would be great to see, but mainly want to make the most of exploring the areas while Im there. So if I dont get to see them this trip, Id be ok with that.

Orders of preference based off of what I currently know are:

Japan (Tokyo, etc)
Snowboarding
Scuba Diving
Friends in Dalian China

Based off of having just two weeks, do you have any ideas? Thank you!
