Hi Reddit!

 

From February I am going to travel the world (for 5 months) in order to shoot a documentary about the effects of climate change on peoples lives. I believe that the effects of climate change are quite well known now, but people dont generally realize that it will really change their lives. Thats why I want to help raise the awareness about this.

I am a French engineering student, currently on a gap year. I dont have any background in environmental science or filming, and this is why I need your help!

 

Here are the details Ive figured out for now:

Dates: From mid-February to mid-July. I plan on spending 2-3 weeks in each destination.

Places: Louisiana, Panama, Kiribati, Australia, Philippines, Maldives, Tanzania, Greenland

Budget: $5000 for plane tickets, $3000 for accommodation, $1500 for food, $1000 for video equipment, $300 for other equipment.

I am hoping I can get corporate donations to pay for all that.

 

I would be very grateful for any advice you could give me. Please feel free to suggest places I havent mentioned if you think they fit in my project.
