Im 23, irish, female, and just started a job as a graduate engineer in Ireland, but its poop. Real life is minus craic. I want to travel while Im young and "no strings".

The plan is;
– fly to Thailand, spend 3-4 weeks here
– fly to Aus, travel for 2/3 months
– get job as bartender / waitress to support new nomadic hostel lifestyle
– convince someone to sponsor me and let me work for them as an engineer

My questions are…
1. How much money would I need? Would €6k (after flights & visa) be a good call?
2. People who travelled to Aus, how did you find a job? 3. Any other tips???
