Howdy travellers

Im, just wondering about whether thered be any issues with me travelling to the states. About a year ago I was summoned to court for possession of a very small amount of marijuana, and was awarded a spent conviction as I had a clean record and appeared to be an otherwise upstanding citizen, working and studying etc. So if I wanted to travel to the U.S, would I need to answer yes to questions about whether or not I have any criminal convictions / is this spent conviction likely to make entering the U.S an impossibility for me?
