Im definitely a beach-goer when it comes to planning a vacation and Im constantly looking for the BEST beaches. But everyone has a different opinion when it comes to a great beach. I like swimming beaches with calm water, soft sand and crystal clear turquoise waters. So far on my travels, I would say that Hawaii and Fiji are nearly tied. Next would be the waters in Byron Bay, Australia followed by the waters near the Riviera Maya. Sadly Bocas del Toro, Panama takes up the rear as it was mostly surfers beaches and there was often trash on the beaches. Also not fond of the beaches in Puerto Vallarta as the water is more browny than clear but Ive heard theres some areas that are actually quite beautiful.
