Hoi /fellow travellers. I will start traveling all around South America in a few months and I intend to bring some smart phones and a windows netbook with me. My laptop has a laptoplock attached longterm but I can not find such holes in any of the devices I am taking. What to do?

Edit; 2 tablets lost previously in similar countries. one by being an easy target and the other by looking away from where I placed it for a minute.
